Robert Tan has been a pivotal figure at Springboard Capital Limited since its establishment over 15 years ago. His leadership has propelled the organization to new heights, leveraging his extensive expertise and comprehensive understanding of business to guide strategic development and ensure our commitment to the highest standards.
With a rich background in banking and investment, Robert has gained valuable experience at prominent institutions such as HSBC, Wells Fargo and JP Morgan.
He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and an MBA in Investment Banking from Cornell University. Throughout his career, Robert has successfully overseen the growth of several international investment firms within the Asia-Pacific region.
At Springboard Capital Limited, Robert has been instrumental in driving our expansion, enhancing both our client base and global footprint. His industry knowledge and insights have been key in facilitating our entry into new markets.
Graham Lancaster
Chief Executive Officer
With more than three decades of experience in the financial industry, Graham Lancaster has significantly advanced our business model and strategies, leading to notable improvements in our efficiency and profitability through innovative and pragmatic approaches.
Throughout his distinguished career, Graham has occupied executive roles at prestigious financial institutions, including Barclays Capital, NatWest, and Goldman Sachs. His extensive experience and knowledge have played a crucial role in shaping our investment infrastructure and expanding our global network.
Graham earned a BA Hons in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics, as well as a BSc in Pure and Statistical Mathematics from the University of London.
Miriam Chen
Chief Financial Officer
Miriam Chen became a member of Springboard Capital Limited in 2011, following her tenure as the Chief Global Economic Advisor at Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group in Hong Kong.
She has also held various roles at prominent investment and banking institutions across the Asia-Pacific region, including the Bank of China and UOB Bank. Miriam’s extensive experience in both public and private sectors has been instrumental in refining Springboard Capital Limited’s strategic vision and in identifying lucrative investment opportunities.
As a seasoned economist, she has proven to be a significant asset to the firm, with her expertise in assessing market conditions and investment landscapes playing a crucial role in the success of both the company and its clients.
Miriam earned her Master’s degree in Business Economics from the Shanghai University of International Business and Economics and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Stanford University in California.
Deborah Wu
Chief Communications Officer
Deborah Wu became a member of Springboard Capital Limited in 2012, where she has since played a pivotal role in streamlining and enhancing our operations.
She has developed internal policies and frameworks aimed at maximizing efficiency, ensuring ethical practices, and upholding the high standards we have established. Throughout her career, Deborah has been immersed in the financial sector, beginning her journey at ICBC Bank in Hong Kong.
She subsequently joined Standard Chartered Bank, where she notably served as Head of Operations, and has also held positions at UBS, Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch.
Her invaluable contributions across various departments, commitment to devising innovative strategies, and fostering a success-oriented environment have been crucial to our growth.
Deborah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Finance with a specialization in Risk Management from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, as well as a Master of Science in Financial Mathematics from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
